I have to give John McCain a little credit today. (Yes Really). After a week of total disgust for the way he has ignored the disrespect coming from the supporters at his and Palin’s rally’s, John McCain finally stood up and put a little honor back into his campaign, and defended Barack Obama against hateful accusations from audience members.
McCain and Palin only have themselves to blame for winding their crowds into a pissed off frenzy with all their rhetoric about Obama’s trustworthiness, and insinuating ties with domestic terrorist, being Muslim ( as if that were a crime) and have literally spending millions to scare voters onto their side. It is a hate against Obama that John McCain and Sarah Palin have created, and now find themselves in a position to have to talk down their supporters from the ignorance that they have been feeding them for so long.
It seems ( at least in this once instance) that John McCain seems to understand that he has created an unfair rage against his opponent, and standing by and allowing it to continue is a direct reflection of his own honor as a Senator, and as an American.
